As a parent, I'm cautious about the snacks I provide for my children. Are there protein bars suitable for kids that provide the necessary nutrients without excessive sugars or artificial additives? @DrHimanshi

Hi there, I hope you are well. I'd suggest that you prepare protein bars /protein laddoos at home for your child, as you'd know which ingredients have gone into its preparation. You can use ingredients like dates, oats, chia seeds, almonds, and cocoa powder (unsweetened), to prepare nutrition bars at home :) You can also prepare Date, and nuts Laddoo at home and it can be given as an evening snack. Store-bought protein bars can be loaded with sugar, and additives which may not be ideal for your child's health. Also, I'd suggest that you have to buy a protein bar from inside, kindly check the ingredients, and the nutrition label( total sugar, added sugar, fats, fibre, sodium).

Hello parent, firstly you are doing great as a parent, , if nobody has said it. Secondly protein bars are a no no for kids. Make your own protein bars at home, there are some simple recipes, that I will share in the coming days, stay tuned here. Having said this, if you are working, and have no other option but to buy protein bars for your kids. Check the label of your protein bars for ingredients, you cn remember as ABC A for Abandon these ingredients - artificial sweeteners, corn syrup, hydrogenated oils. B for better lowest sugars - Check the sugars and choose the one with the lowest percentage, preferably below 10%. C for check for certification like "Non-GMO" or "USDA Organic" which says that it has better ingredient quality.
