Black cohosh, L-theanine, St. John's wort, probiotics, and omega-3 fatty acid supplements may help with hot flashes, sleep problems, and mood changes in menopause.

Supplements are based on your needs. If you have vitamin deficiencies, such as D or B12, this would be recommended. If you notice significant struggles with hot flashes, vaginal dryness and mood changes your gynecologist will look into your suitability for estrogen supplementation. Iron supplementation if you are in perimenopause with heavy bleeding. However, it is best to consider a routine check during perimenopause and menopause in order to know if you need supplements or not. For the most part a healthy and nutritious diet should cover most of your needs ideally without the use of supplements.

Menopause means stopping of female hormones, especially Estrogen. Because it is necessary for your vagina as well as your overall health, you can take so many natural Medicines instead of taking just supplements. You may face vaginal dryness, mood swings/ emotional ups and downs and osteoporosis. Also hot flushes irritates most. Just supplements are not sufficient if these symptoms are irritating you. Then Take proper consultation with your doctor. Natural medicines are more useful in my opinion.

You would generally need calcium and vitamin d supplements once you hit your 40s. As you grow older your calcium absorption decreases and it is very important to maintain certain calcium levels for your bone and muscle strength. Vitamin d is needed for better absorption of calcium as well as for good mood regulation. Apart from that most other supplements get prescribed based on deficiency.

#PeriodTalk We all know from common knowledge that an ideal period lasts between 3-5 days. However, for some women periods can last for 7 days throughout their lives. This doesn't indicate that something is wrong. The ideal period length is the average you have for each period. A normal period day would be using 3-5 pads, or changing out your cup 3-4 times a day. More on the first couple of days when periods are usually heavier. If you have to use more than 5-7 pads during all days of your period and feel increasing fatigue it would be ideal to get it checked to ensure there is no cause for heavy bleeding and you don't have anemia as a result.
