My friends straight up don't listen to me when I'm venting or sharing my problems. They zone out, change the subject, or give shitty advice that shows they weren't even paying attention. It's pissing me off feeling dismissed like that by people who are supposed to be my girls. How do I get through to them and make them actually hear me out without invalidating how I feel?
Its better to stay with less friends then the friends who dont value your feelings, nevertheless, confrontation of how you feel can also help to either break off or bring you closer
Just go and have a straightforward conversation with them. Just vent out everything to them about how you have been feeling. If they are your true friends then they will definitely understand you.

Tuning into your live session at 6 PM sounds great! Here are 7 Benefits of taking a sun bath and how it can be good for#mental health: #BenefitsofSunBaths #TarotSagePooja 1. Vitamin D Production: Sun exposure helps your body produce vitamin D, which is essential for bone health, immune function, and mood regulation. Low levels of vitamin D have been linked to depression. 2. Improved Mood: Sunlight increases the production of serotonin, a hormone that can enhance mood and promote feelings of well-being. This can help alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. 3. Better Sleep: Exposure to natural light during the day helps regulate your body's circadian rhythm. This can lead to better sleep quality and duration, both of which are crucial for mental health. 4. Stress Reduction: Taking time to bask in the sun can be a relaxing experience, helping to reduce stress and anxiety levels. The warmth of sunlight can create a sense of comfort and peace. 5. Increased Mindfulness: Sunbathing encourages you to slow down and enjoy the present moment, fostering mindfulness. Practicing mindfulness can lower stress levels and improve overall mental clarity. 6. Enhanced Motivation and Energy Levels: Sunlight exposure boosts energy levels and promotes feelings of vitality, which can lead to increased motivation to engage in physical activity and social interactions. 7. Connect with Nature: Spending time outdoors in the sun helps foster a connection with nature. This connection has been shown to improve mood, reduce feelings of loneliness, and enhance overall well-being. # Conclusion Taking sun baths can have a positive impact on both physical and mental health. Remember to balance sun exposure with skin protection to avoid damage from UV rays. Enjoy your live session!

How do I navigate friendships that may be impacting my mental health negatively, and when is it okay to let go? @Chaitali_Hirani_psychologist
Hey there, hope you're doing well. Navigating confrontations in friendships can be tricky but you'll need to recognize signs of invalidation or even disrespect to know if the friendship is worth maintaining. Try having an open communication with your friend in case there are communication issues but if you still don't feel validated, then you need to realise that it might not be beneficial to you to stay in that relationship. You can set boundaries and let them know what behavior of theirs is unacceptable to you. Self care should be a priority even in case of friendships. You can also talk to a therapist who can help you with assertiveness and boundary setting.
Anonymous14d
Hi, you could begin by assessing how the friendship affects you, noting signs of toxicity such as persistent negativity or manipulation. Clearly communicate your boundaries and seek support from trusted individuals. If your efforts to address the issues with your friend are not successful it may be appropriate to consider ending the friendship. Remember, choosing to distance a is decision to prioritize your mental health and surround yourself with positivity. Trust your instincts and prioritize self-care as you navigate this process.

As Madhuri, I struggle to assert my boundaries with others. How can I establish firmer boundaries and protect my well-being?
hi. you have to learn to say no. remember, everything in this world is dispensible and we can be replaced n also we too can replace someone. be confident n self assured. know that what you deliver, the way your deliver can't be done by others but for this you have to be one of the best at what you do n to be one of the best you have to prepare yourself and work with focus n dedication. if you yourself aren't sure or have faith in yourself it will show n definitely others aren't going to be kind or good to you if you yourself won't be able to do it. be calm n confident but assertive, do not feel FOMO. Know that what's meant for your will make its way to you. these things will surely help you emerge strong n your inner strength will definitely show. you must find a good teacher/ instructor and start meditation or you can do traatak as well. all the best!
There could be many reasons for this- Emotional, Spiritual and Psychological But, to list a few Reduce codependent habit Reduce expectations from others Ensure your phyical and emotional comfort Set your boundaries in your mind and also communicate to others where required Keep kind and respectful towards yourself Hope this helps Love & Light Shagun K Singh Spiritual Life Coach Satvatma-The Pure Soul

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time alone, and I’m starting to wonder if it's unhealthy to be alone for a long time. I enjoy my own company and it feels peaceful, but I don’t want it to negatively impact my mental health or social life. How much alone time is too much, and when does it start becoming unhealthy? Any advice or personal experiences would really help.

Hello Dear. I'm a Consultant Psychologist and Sexual Health Expert. If you are introvert, that might be your way of recharging. It's okay as long as it doesn't affect you emotionally. I would say, atleast having a support system and spending time with them once a week is important. And it would also be better if you go out for walk or gym or grocery store for 30 mins a day even by yourself is okay. But that's good for your mental health.

Hello, I'm Ananya Singh, a dedicated psychology expert with over 2 years of experience in the field. My passion lies in helping individuals navigate through various life challenges and enhancing their mental well-being. Over the past two years, I have had the privilege of working extensively with adolescents, adults, and middle-aged adults. Mental health has often been neglected, and one of my primary motivations for becoming a psychologist. I love helping people and understanding their problems. I have been studying psychology for the past 7 years, and I have never been as passionate about anything else as I am about psychology. As I delved deeper into the field, I recognized that I, too, had my own mental health challenges, including self-esteem and anxiety issues. Before I started counseling others, I sought therapy myself and worked through my personal struggles, which reinforced my commitment to helping others. My expertise covers a wide range of issues, including relationship problems, breakups, marital conflicts, body image concerns in women, self-esteem issues, comparisons with the unrealistic standards set by social media, spouse-related issues, and the pervasive struggles with anxiety and depression, particularly among young women. My approach is empathetic and tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. In my practice, I have conducted over 200 hours of counseling sessions, predominantly with women of all ages, helping them overcome their struggles and achieve a balanced mental state. Whether you're dealing with personal issues, emotional distress, or seeking guidance for better mental health, I am here to assist you on your journey to well-being.
