@Drkalpana My periods have been acting up recently, and it's making me a bit anxious since I had sex with my boyfriend last weekend. Is this something common, or should I be considering visiting a doctor?

If you are using Contraception like condom, then your weirdly acting periods can be repaired by giving medicines only. But if you are not, then you might be or not in a trouble. Just go for UPT first. If you have completed one and half month since your last period, then you can go for ultrasound/sonography with signed referal of any practitioner near you. It will clear everything....if you are pregnant or not? Management will depend on outcome of reports. It's always better to take precautions instead of running around afterwards. So next time, tell your partner to use condom and avoid this hussle.

After sex, it's normal for your periods timings to get disturbed. But if you've used protection the right way then there's nothing to be worried about and you can relax. ❤️❤️

Changes in your period after having sex can happen due to various reasons, including stress or hormonal fluctuations. If it persists or you're worried, it's wise to consult a doctor for peace of mind and proper advice.

What supplements are recommended for menopause?
You would generally need calcium and vitamin d supplements once you hit your 40s. As you grow older your calcium absorption decreases and it is very important to maintain certain calcium levels for your bone and muscle strength. Vitamin d is needed for better absorption of calcium as well as for good mood regulation. Apart from that most other supplements get prescribed based on deficiency.
Menopause means stopping of female hormones, especially Estrogen. Because it is necessary for your vagina as well as your overall health, you can take so many natural Medicines instead of taking just supplements. You may face vaginal dryness, mood swings/ emotional ups and downs and osteoporosis. Also hot flushes irritates most. Just supplements are not sufficient if these symptoms are irritating you. Then Take proper consultation with your doctor. Natural medicines are more useful in my opinion.

my periods are delayed by 3 months and i m not pregnant any remedy to get periods
Hi there, I hope you are well. If you're periods have been delayed for 3 months, then, it must be a hormonal imbalance. - Please see a gynecologist immediately and get the necessary tests done. You may need to get your thyroid, hormonal tests, as well as Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 levels tested. - Kindly don't delay. - What is your weight, height, and do you have family history of health issues? Do let me know:) Take care.

having issues with my partner from last 3 months whenever we talk there us a fight he his so stressed but don't tell what's wrong
Hello, I am Nirdeshika, counselling psychologist at coto. I hear you that you are having a tough time with your partner. There is a healthy relationship which has developed between you and your partner since last 3 months and you might be feeling stressed out and frustrated about it. I would want to help you however if you are comfortable kindly let me know few reasons of why the fight is happening. That would help me to guide you better Also there are few tips which I would like to tell you 1. Whenever the arguments happen, try to be calm in that moment. It will not take the argument further 2. Try to give little space to yourself and your partner. He might not be comfortable talking at that point of time 3. Try expressing your feelings after the argument is over These are the few things which can help and to help you more i would like to connect with you Thank you
Hey there! I am a clinical psychologist and would love to help you out. Having constant fights means that there is an underlying issue that is not being resolved. It would help too if you could understand what this issue is and then talk about this with your boyfriend calmly and clearly. Using "I" sentences can help. You can join my live sessions to know more. Stay strong

I have vaginal dryness issue. even after roleplay, not get wet. it's time to consult to doctor or it is normal? I m 38 now. I practice masterbate also.
Consult a Sexologist for proper guidance and treatment of vaginal dryness. It can be due to lack of foreplay/passion is not in sync/relationship issues/you can have some hormonal imbalance or because of certain conditions like perimenopause, other diseases or medicines. Proper history taking to find reason and then accordingly treatment can be done.
Hey there. Hope you are doing well. If you are suffering from constant vaginal dryness, then you should certainly see a doctor!

Is it healthy to take out some time everyday away from my husband?? Will it affect our relationship or strengthen it?
it is completely normal and healthy to want some time to yourself even when you're married. needing personal space does not mean that there is something wrong with your marriage. it just shows that you value your independence and like taking care of your well-being. taking time for your self helps you align your personal needs. manage stress, make goals for yourself and accomplish them.

Are there any dietary supplements you recommend to support my menstrual health based on my individual needs?
Hey there! 🌸 Looking to boost your menstrual health? Consider adding these essentials to your routine: Iron for replenishing lost blood, Vitamin B6 to ease those pesky PMS symptoms, Magnesium for calming those cramps, Omega-3 fatty acids to soothe inflammation, and don't forget Calcium for bone health and mood stability. Your body will thank you for the extra support!
hina-11d
There is no restriction for your diet during your menstrual cycle. Nor are there any foods that you necessarily should eat, except for foods high in iron. Because of the blood loss, there is also some iron loss w/menstruation. Therefore, foods high in iron content can help replace the iron stores that women need. These foods can include dark chocolate in small amounts, molasses, and then green leafy veggies such as spinach, beef, turkey, etc. You can google for a more comprehensive list. Otherwise, no special diet is required.

How can nutrition play a role in addressing common women’s health concerns such as menstrual irregularities, PMS symptoms, or menopausal transitions?
Regulating menstrual cycles with iron-rich foods. Easing PMS symptoms through magnesium and vitamin B6.Managing menopausal symptoms with phytoestrogen-rich foods like soy.
Na_Dia-10d
For menstrual irregularities and PMS symptoms, maintaining stable blood sugar levels by eating balanced meals with complex carbohydrates, healthy fats, and lean proteins can help alleviate symptoms. Incorporating foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids, magnesium, and vitamin B6 may also be beneficial. During menopause, consuming foods rich in calcium and vitamin D helps maintain bone health. Phytoestrogen-rich foods like soy products can help alleviate hot flashes and other symptoms. Adequate intake of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains provides essential nutrients and supports overall health during this transitional phase. Additionally, staying hydrated and reducing caffeine and alcohol intake can help manage symptoms.
