Healthy eating is one of the trends that generate the most food-related innovations in the world each year. This has been going on for a few decades and it will certainly continue to be the case for some time to come. As science continually evolves, we learn more every day about the impact of our diet on our current and future health which plays out in the food market. In fact, the very definition of a healthy diet is changing.
does eating almonds help in reducing period cramps or is it just a saying?? @docmfrank

Hi there, I hope you are well. Almonds alone may not help with reducing cramps :) Almonds are a good source of Omega 3 fatty acids, fibre, and some protein and are great as anti-inflammatory foods.While, it's a good option to consume soaked almonds on waking up, you can try ginger tea, spearmint tea, light meals( dal rice, khichdi, curd rice), stay hydrated, take good rest,eat fruits, and vegetables ( for fibre, as fibre can ease digestive discomfort faced during a period) and do some stretching to reduce period pain, cramps. Avoid processed foods which are high in salt and sugar.. as it can lead to bloating and this may worsen the cramps :)
