I've been struggling with remembering meal times due to my hectic office schedule. How does the timing and frequency of meals affect metabolism, energy levels, and overall health outcomes? I'm curious about how irregular eating patterns might be impacting my health given my busy timetable @NutritionistHudaShaikh

Hi there, I hope you are well. Erratic eating patterns can affect your metabolism, and may lead to weight gain as well as blood sugar imbalance. While, you don't have to necessarily eat every 2hours but keeping a gap of more than 4hrs in between meals can lead to dip in blood sugar levels, make your system tired, and sluggish....and you may feel sleepy. It can also affect productivity, and lead to acidity in the long run. Hence, you put a reminder on your phone or place sticky notes on the desk to remember that you need to take your meal on time :)
