Hi there, I hope you are well. -Body shaming can have a negative impact on an individual's mind, and she may begin to feel anxious, unhappy, and may even engage in negative self-talk. -Ideally, remarks on what one eats, how much she eats, praising one for losing weight, giving unsolicited advice for weight loss or weight gain, fall under body shaming. Here are the effects of body shaming on an individual health ( mental as well as physical) -Eating disorders- You are likely to stop yourself from eating. You may eat and feel guilty about it which is why you may find ways to evacuate it. -Excessive exercising- A person may begin to exercise more than usual, over 2hrs... leading to extreme weight loss. -Body dysmorphic disorder- They are likely to have body image issues in the long run. Comparing their body to someone else's body is considered common. -Anxiety, and depression- It may impact the person mentally, and she may be under grave stress and guilt.
