Hi there, I hope you are well. Here's how you can cope with emotional eating. - Firstly, see what time of the month do you feel the need to eat emotionally. - Ask yourself whether you are hungry or you are eating only because you are feeling low. - Jot down your feelings on a paper and even mention the foods you are most likely to eat during that time. - Avoid stocking unhealthy foods at home, and if you end up ordering from food apps, then try deleting them. - Try and divert your mind by doing other activities, such as reading, going out for a walk, talking to a friend, etc. - Get your blood tests done to check for deficiencies. - Start your morning with good fat( almonds and walnuts), have a fruit, and eat a healthy and wholesome breakfast. - Listen to some music in order to calm yourself. - Don't attach feelings to food, cravings are natural but attaching emotions to food will lead to binge eating. - Cater to your cravings, and move out from situations that stress you out.
