Hey my fellow She-ro, nutrition definitely effects our mental health. Have you ever noticed, when we are hungry, we get cranky and irritated? The same way how hunger effects our brain, balanced nutrition effects our brain and emotions too. Good foods can make you feel confident and happy while refined foods can cause depression and body image issues (even if u are fit). This becomes a cycle for a person, eating unhealthy foods can cause body image issues, which makes us sad and we again end up eating junk food just to make ourselves feel better, which has a temporary effect. Then again we are back to feeling depressed and having body image issues. The only way to break out of this cycle is to change our lifestyle and food habits. Initially we have to work hard to break this cycle. After reaching our health goal, we can definitely go back having a balanced diet and enjoying all our food cravings. This is called smart eating. Stay tuned with @Salubrity Nutrition..

my boss is pressurizing me to take a certification exam at my job. are there any insights on how yo deal with this? I do not feel ready to take the exam now.
Try talking to your senior and HR if possible, if you unsure about something its always better to have clear communication before hand and its better if they formally write about details of this exam on formal mail/letter

I have gone through my child's death because of premature delivery. My husband is blaming me for that and taking a divorce from me. My all inlaws are against me. After marriage my husband and in laws started mentally torturing me .Nowadays I am dealing with lots of depression and stress. I am suffering sleepless nights. Please help me. How can I overcome the depression and stress caused by my husband blaming me for our child's premature death and my in-laws' mental torture, while dealing with sleepless nights and the threat of divorce?
I'm deeply sorry to hear about the immense pain and suffering you're experiencing. t’s crucial to prioritize your mental health and well-being during this incredibly time.Establish a strong support system by reaching out to friends or family members who can offer emotional support, and consult with a lawyer to understand your rights regarding the divorce and potential legal support against the mental torture.Set clear boundaries by limiting contact with people contributing to this stress and create a comforting space for yourself, focus on future, small achievable goals.Prioritize self-care by creating a calming bedtime routine to improve your sleep quality,Incorporate mindfulness meditation and relaxation techniques such as deep breathing exercises to manage stress.Journaling your thoughts and feelings can be therapeutic, and practicing daily gratitude can help shift your focus towards positive aspects of your life. Pl remember healing takes time and you deserve compassion. Stay strong
Maybe the death of your baby is a sign that this marriage is not for you. I hope you are healed and find peace. Start with positive thinking. This may sound cliche but what you think is where life takes you. Remember that this is only today, tomorrow will be entirely a different chapter, and you don't know what blessings await you. So just sail through it having faith that God is preparing you to receive some great blessings soon.

hi there, I'm clinical psychologist and I can understand how feeling emotionally neglected in your marriage can be incredibly challenging, especially if your mental health is not being supported or understood. One advice I can give you is by start having an honest conversation with your husband expressing how you feel without blaming him. Using "i" sentences help!. reach out to your friends, family or join me for a live session for support and validation. Another crucial thing is to always engage in self-care activities that nurtures your mind, body and soul. Questions to Gain Clarity 1.What is the main issue I am overthinking about? 2.Why does this issue matter to me? 3.What is the worst-case scenario I am imagining? 4.What is the best-case scenario? 5.What evidence do I have that my thoughts are true? 6.Is this thought based on facts or assumptions?
Hi @nav_talks , I am a psychologist here i’ll try to answer your question. For knowing anything about overthinking one needs to know the root cause or the sources that are actually causing overthinking. What does silent treatment do to a person? When my partner gives me the silent treatment, I feel anxious and worthless. How does prolonged silence affect my mental well-being and our relationship dynamics? I'm worried about the long-term impact.
Hi! I am a Psychologist and an intimacy coach People who use the silent treatment as a way to gain power or exert control in a relationship If you want to know how to respond to silent treatment in relationships, the best way is not to respond to it at all. “Ignore the silence,” Go about your day, don’t do more or less than what you would usually do. If your partner is only cooling off, the problem will solve itself. It's very important to take care of your own mental health while doing this
Hello Dear. I'm a Consultant Psychologist and Sexual Health Expert. It isn't healthy to practice silent treatment, it can ruin relationship. But that also not make you feel less of a person as it seems to stem from your anxiety and insecurity. The right way is to express your emotions to the partner stating that you are Hurt and also work on yourself in building a confident identity. Do join my live sessions to learn more

Is stonewalling narcissistic? Whenever my partner stonewalls me during arguments, I feel shut out and frustrated. Does this behavior indicate narcissism, or is it a sign of poor conflict resolution skills? How can I address this communication breakdown?
Hi there! Hope you're keeping well. stonewalling is not inherently a sign of narcissism while it is a tatic used by individual with narcissistic traits. It's more commonly associated with poor conflict resolution. Addressing this problem by recognizing the pattern is the first step in conflict resolution. The second is to express yourself by using " I" sentences this tends to prioritize your own feelings first and also takes away the feeling of being blamed by our partners. Having an encouraging open dialogue without judgment is key to any communication. I would love to help you with this more. Hope I can talk to you soon.
