I am an overweight girl and want to reduce my weight, but I don't like going to gym. Can morning walks and runs provide me with the same effect as gym for my weight loss journey?

A 30min workout in any form can definitely provide you with the results that you want to achieve. Always remember that our muscles are blind, they don't know where you're making them work, be it in a gym or somewhere else. ❤️

Hi there, I hope you are well. You can begin with a walk, and run, however it isn't equivalent of going to the gym. Walk, and run with fall under cardio and endurance activity whereas at the gym you can strength train which is needed for toning. - You can opt for body weight exercises at home itself. Squats, lunges, butt bridge, jumping jacks, plank, knee push ups, Superman can be done at home easily. - You can include some yoga, zumba as well. - Start adding weights once you are comfortable with body weight exercises. - Download a workout all from Google Play store, there are many out there. - Most importantly, increase your protein intake, fibre intake, and drink enough water, too. - Reduce the consumption of processed, packaged, and refined foods :)

Hey beautiful girl, went through your question ,just want to ask how over weight you are ? Well if your bmi is more than 24 you will need to take care of extra care of your diet and exercise Once you reach up to your ideal body weight you can continue walking and home workout for maintenance
