I've been considering starting a diet for a while now, and I've already begun by reducing my carbohydrate and fat intake. However, I'm struggling to stay focused on both my diet and exercise regimen. Can you suggest more effective methods to lose 2 kilograms before Holi?

Hi there, I hope you are well. I would suggest that you should eat well, and exercise to stay healthy, and weight loss shouldn't be the only goal :) Once, Holi is over...you must continue this regime that you've been following...but don't go extremely low on carbs or fat. - Firstly, Tell yourself that you are doing this to gain health and not just to lose weight. - Maintain a journal in which you can add your feelings and foods that you are likely to crave at that time. - Plan a chart for yourself on a piece of paper and stick it on the wall or kitchen cabinet. - Practice meditation at least twice a day. - Avoid stocking unhealthy food items at home. - Once you follow a diet for 15-20days at a stretch, then, you will continue it for longer. - Include enough fibre, and protein in the diet and keep space for healthy snacks. - Sleep well, for at least 7-8hrs a day. - Start your morning with handful nuts, and soaked black raisins, and have. wholesome breakfast.
